Demo Recordings
"Delray" & more
In early May of 2025, the band began recording material for their demo in order to further promote themselves. They went into the studio for a few weeks and this is what they came up with.

The band recorded a total of eight songs for the album. They began with a purist version of Jason Aldean's "Tattoos on this Town". They followed this with a heavier rendition of Cody Johnson's cover of "Long-Haired Country Boy", originally a Charlie Daniels Band tune. Third came a cover of "Fishin' in the Dark" by the Nitty Griity Dirt Band, and then the mellow "I Never Lie" by country music's newest star, Zach Top. They continued with the bar band staples, Eric Church's "Drink In My Hand" and Chris Young's "Save Water, Drink Beer". The last cover tune would be the classic "Pickup Man" by Joe Diffie.

The group also recorded an original song by Logan, titled "Delray". It is a rockin' tune with a solid beat and a catchy hook. The lyrics tell the story of a chance romantic encounter between two people who would be unable to make a long-distance relationship work, as is emphasized by the line "Delray is just too far away". After a melodic guitar solo and a hopeful bridge, the song turns around to end on a positive note. All in all, it is a promising start for the Logan Watkins Band and their future in country music.
